I had trouble restarting HP-Health on a server that had recently been upgraded to Centos 5.3, resulting in this error in /var/log/messages:
hpasmxld: Invalid Device: /dev/ipmi1
On this server only /dev/ipmi0 existed, even though a server with the same hardware running Centos 5.2 had both..All suggested solutions implied that this error was a result [...]
